The Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission (NERC) has issued a step-by-step guide for consumers facing power supply and billing issues, urging them to follow established complaint channels.
According to NERC, consumers should first contact their Distribution Company (DisCo) customer care unit for faults, outages, metering concerns, or billing disputes. Where a complaint remains unresolved, customers in states with a State Electricity Regulator (SER) should escalate to that authority.
